Arianna Huffington
Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington has been a Greek American columnist, author and businesswoman for over 20 years. She founded The Huffington Post and the chief executive officer of Thrive Global. Author of over 15 books. Arianna Huffington is a TV host, journalist, philanthropist and author for more than ten years. She also is the proprietor of The Huffington Post, an independently-liberal online newsmagazine. Her birthplace was in Greece then moved to England when she was sixteen. When she attended Cambridge University, she graduated with an MA in economics. The first non-English student to graduate, she was elected president of The Cambridge Union' at age 21. Following the graduation ceremony, she was an influential Conservative syndicated journalist. A few more years after that she launched The Huffington Post which featured critical commentary on the current political scene. It was her celebrity that has led to the attraction of many famous contributors who shared their views on current events political, culture and politics. Arianna's celebrity status started in 2003, after she declared herself an independent candidate in the California recall election to succeed Governor Davis. Apart from this she also was the leader of the Detroit initiative to encourage vehicles that are fuel efficient. In 2009, she was ranked by Forbes as The most influential female media personality, taking the 12th position on their listing and the following year Guardian listed her on the top 100 of media lists. AOL bought The Huffington Post from AOL in the year 2011. Then she was appointed the president of the AOL media group. It included a number of AOL-owned brands, including Engadget AOL Style List and Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos is a daughter of Konstantinos the manager's advisor as well as journalist. Her life was shaped through her relationship with her mother, and the bond she shared with her father despite being extremely close to her father. Through her early times, she demonstrated abilities to lead, and for this are still prominently known. As a 16-year-old the girl moved into the United Kingdom for her higher education.
